Promin is a bilingual journal sponsored by the Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada with the first issue published in January 1960 with Natalia Kohuska as the first editor.
6 Issues are published annually
The journal covers a variety of topics:
- historical and current events
- social issues of interest to all women
- human rights issues
- biographical sketches of women who are making significant contributions to the Ukrainian Canadian community, both in Canada and abroad
- Ukrainian cultural topics and the arts.
